Harry Powell (Past Speaker)

Harry is Director of Corporate Analytics at Jaguar Land Rover, where he leads a team of 40 people delivering analytics projects and heads up an analytics transformation programme to embed evidence-based decision making at the heart of the business. The team includes data engineers, analysts and data scientists and is on track to deliver £100m incremental profit in the current year. Previously, Harry was Head of Advanced Analytics at Barclays where his team built and deployed production big data and machine learning applications. Harry is on the committee of the Royal Statistical Society Data Science Section and has a particular interest in the Industrialisation of Data Science.
