Clare Kitching (Past Speaker)

Clare helps companies leverage data and analytics to make better decisions in day-to-day operations as well as setting organisations up for success in the longer term.

She leads teams of data scientists, user experience designers and change management specialists to develop tools, redesign processes and augment human expertise to improve businesses’ performance

Prior to joining QuantumBlack, Clare worked within McKinsey with a focus on using data science in the marketing and sales area. She helped clients across telecommunications, retail and energy sectors optimise their pricing, promotions and loyalty strategies using data. She also spent time with McKinsey’s People Analytics group, working with clients to apply advanced analytics within HR fields to improve employee retention and performance. 

Clare is particulary interested in how data can be used for good. She currently volunteers with DataKind UK, supporting charities to change the way they make use of their data.
